 ~ When, Where & How Much? ~

o      5 sessions May to September ~ 9 nights / 10 days each session. Fewer days possible.

 

o      As long as you are here for opening sessions Saturday morning, you may also choose to come for the number of nights that fits your schedule.  We welcome you to come early or stay long.

 

o      6-7 hands-on days each Workshop

 

o      Sliding scale.  In addition to subsidized low end of sliding scale, some additional subsidy is possible.  Talk to Jae.  Your generosity makes these workshops both possible and accessible.

 

o      Most workshops limited to 12 Registrants

o      Registration includes:  Sleeping space, meals, materials, instruction, other activities plus access to land and facilities

Sliding Scale

       All events are on a sliding scale.  Our priority is that you are able to attend for as long as you like.  We want to be accessible.  If the bottom of our sliding scale is a hardhip, talk with Jae to explore options.

     To be accessible and offer this incredible program that expands us as women meqans considerable expense.  We are a tiny nonprofit.  Please be as generous as your resources allow.

     We appreciate your sending as much of your registration contribution as possible in advance.

 

     Please choose a sliding scale price that reflects your income, assets, education, access to employment, potential inheritance and other relevant factors.  Any extra amount you can offer makes such a difference in maintaining this incredible land, offering these events and making it possible for more women to have access to this land and to Workshops.

     Amounts over the minimun are tax-deductible.  Talk with Jae to offer what you can afford for your stay and participation.

 

 

Prices  

9 night / 10 day Women Build Our Own Houses Workshops

 

Private Room         

 

o      Sliding Scale     $900 - $720.  One woman        

               o      Add   $540 - $260 for second woman in shared bed.

               o      Add $70-$50 each night over 9.  2nd woman, add $50 - $20.

                   Private room often available for full Workshop stay only.

          

Private rooms are available for any lenght of time for Guests not participating in the Workshops at regular GuestHouse rates.

 

 

Loft / Dorm         

               o      Sliding scale      $720 - $540

               o      Add $50-$20 each night over 9.  Subtract for each night fewer than 9. 

 

Tent or small RV

               o      Sliding scale      $630 - $540

      o      Add $50-$20 each night over 9.  Subtract for each night fewer than 9.

Sleeping Spaces

     We have mini-dorms for the Season.  Beds are beds, cots and mattresses in shared rooms, lofts and tents.  Private rooms are occasionally available for the Workshops--  please request with registration so we can try to arrange.  Private tents are available.  Note that we are not accessible to most RVs.

     We are a wild plant and animal sanctuary and we honor this land and the plant, animal and mineral peoples who live here.

     This is a woman's Space, a woman-loving environment.  We are Lesbians celebrating, creating and expanding space and possibilities for all women as well as Lesbian culture and community.

     We value caring and respectful interaction as we honor and celebrate each other.  To make this a nourishing environment for us all, we agree to take full responsibility for ourselves, communicating directly and with caring, and to interact without drama or agression.

     Just as we live in harmony with the land and creatures, we live in harmony with each other and without weapons or s/m display or practice.  We interact with equal caring for the Earth and this marvelous wild plant and animal preserve. 

     We value a Simple Living Philosophy.

     Our construction is nontoxic and green and our air here is wonderfully pure.  To maintain this preciously healthy and healing environment, we ask you to leave all scented products at home.  We gladly provide unscented and natural home care and body care products for your use.

     We value foods that are organic, local, whole and unprocessed.  Tasty is high on our list too, smile.

     We value connection.  We interact from our authentic Selves so we ask you not to use alcohol or illegal drugs during the Workshops or come to the land under the influence.  We are considering a designated cigarette area removed from the land and activities.

     We can sometimes accommodate an animal companion or girl child.
